VIVAnews - The painting exhibition of works by Brazilian Ambassador to Indonesia will be held from 11 to 15 December 2008.
"In these clumsy attempts at painting, I am trying to go back into the future to spaces I have never been. Memories of the past are past beyond memories that I have never seen. The future I can only imagine if it will ever become present. Through these paintings, I can only glimpse at scenes that I have never glanced, because they do not exist. They do not belong to me. But they are reassuring, because they allow the mind to go free. May they puzzle you as they puzzled me, when I was painting in my fits of insomnia."
Those are the words the Ambassador of Brazil to Indonesia Edmundo S Fujita compose to depict his mind of his paintings that will be displayed at Duta Fine Arts Gallery entitled "Memories of Imagination of An Accidental Painter."
Proceeds from the painting exhibition will be donated to charity.
