VIVAnews - The World Bank and the Ducth government observes fund disbursement of school operational aid program at Gunung 01 Elementary School, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. Both the World Bank and the Dutch government evaluated that the aid has been well-implemented.

The World Bank and the Dutch government plans to meet the school committee and the parents' association. The World Bank and the Dutch government said that they had disbursed the aid to the Department of National Education amounting to US$20 million. The fund is utilized for school operational aid.
World Bank Managing Director Juan Jose Daboub viewed that the Indonesian government has perfectly implemented the school operational aid. "The shool operational aid program aiming at millenium development is a perfect measure," said Daboub.
First Secretary (Science & Education) of Dutch Embassy for Indonesia Arnold Van Der Zanden was also present at the visit. "The program is not affected by the crisis. In fact, due to the crisis, we will increase aid by 10 percent next year," said van der Zanden. The Indonesian government was represented by Directorate General Secretary of Elementary and Middle-level Education at the Department of National Education Bambang Indriyanto.
