The title of the show was 'Romo Tambak.' The show was performed by Ki Mulyono Purwo Wijoyo, the Head of the Monitoring and Consulting Section II at the Tax Office of Salatiga.

‘Romo Tambak’ tells a story of Prabu Rama Wijaya (King Rama), a good king who went to the Kingdom of Alengka on a major mission but had to face many challenges along the way. Thanks to his leadership, dedication, discipline, and hard work, he was able to complete the mission.

The story begins when Hanoman reported to King Rama that his wife, Dewi Sinta, was still alive and remained a virgin despite being held hostage for some time in the Alengka. Rama decided to go to Alengka and bring her back to his Kingdom, in Ayodhya. However, the task proved to be difficult since Rama had to sail across the vast Indian Ocean.

Since it would have taken a lot of time for Rama and his men to travel via the ocean, he decided to go by himself using his supernatural power. However, Kiai Semar warned him that Sinta was no ordinary woman, she also the incarnation of Betari Widowati who was capable of bringing prosperity to his people. Therefore, according to Semar, the task of bringing back Sinta must be performed both by him and his people. After hearing the warning, Rama summoned his army and his people and asked them to go with him to Alengka.

Meanwhile, in the Kingdom of Alengka, King Rahwana held a grand meeting to celebrate the reconstruction of Alengka which had previously been burnt down by Hanoman. During the meeting, Rahwana had a quarrel with his two brothers, Raden Kumbokorno and Raden Gunawan Wibisono. He then banished them from Alengka. Kumbokorno later chose to become a hermit, while Wibisono decided to join King Rama's army.

Wibisono’s desertion gave new strength to Rama, since he conveyed precious information about the enemy. To prove his loyalty, Wibisono builds a dam (tambak) to dam up the ocean. Hanoman, however, destroyed the dam, which made Rama furious. Therefore, he decided to do the task himself by shooting his magic arrow (Guno Wijoyo) to the ocean which made the water shrank at once.

Not long after, Sang Hyang Baruno, the ruler of the ocean came to him. He warned him that a knight should never do such hasty action, because such action will destroy the nature, the ocean, along with all of its inhabitants.  Each task should be completed gradually in stages.

Realizing his mistakes, Rama ordered his troops to use wood, stones, and other materials instead to build his dam. Meanwhile, Rahwana's guards, such as Janggisrono, Yuyu Rumpung, Bajul Sengoro, and many others tried to destroy the new dam.

Rama managed to tackle all these challenges and the dam was finally completed. Soon, Rama and his army successfully entered the Kingdom of Alengka and brought back Sinta to Ayodhya.
