Foreign Companies Aiming LNG Project

VIVAnews - Three foreign companies are said to have interested in involving in the development of the LNG receiving terminal, a consortium project between the State Gas Company (PGN), State Electricity Company (PLN), and the state oil and gas company Pertamina.

Director General of Oil and Gas, Evita Herawati, said the three companies include Hyundai, SK Corporation of South Korea, and a Brazilian company.

"The companies offered a good price," she said on Friday, Feb. 27.

However, Evita said the government has not decided which company will be chosen to work on the LNG project.
