VIVAnews - PT International Nickel Indonesia Tbk (INCO) denied that it proposed dividend payment of US$359.3 million.
"We deny the issue," said INCO Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Secretary, Indra Ginting, in a written statement announced in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Monday, March 2.
Earlier, International Nickel Indonesia has planned to allocate the 2008 net profit as dividends to stock owners. All shares will be shared in the form of final dividends by May 2009.
"Our dividend policy is that all available cash will be shared after it is cut for sustainable capital," said President Director of International Nickel Indonesia, Arif Siregar, on Thursday, Feb 26.
Siregar said the company did not intend to share interim dividends because everything will be allocated for final dividends. INCO is planning to hold a general meeting of shareholders by April 2009.
